35. What makes an intervention translationally credible for humans?

Translational credibility comes from a combination of (i) safety at the intended duration, (ii) reproducible benefits, (iii) a plausible mechanism, (iv) biomarker shifts paired with functional improvements, and (v) a clear target population and outcome. In practice, the bar is highest for interventions proposed for long-term use in healthy people.
