24. Is there evidence for adult age reversal in biomarkers?

Several studies show that biological age measures can shift downward after recovery from stress or following interventions such as drugs given to diseased subjects. This supports the idea that at least some layers of biological age are fluid and can move bidirectionally. The crucial step is to link such shifts to long-lasting improvements in functions and long-term outcomes.
